Anyone know how to get a job doing English to Spanish translation? A friend of mine was asking. What kind of qualifications do you need? How much does it pay?How to become Spanish translator?
Translators are a dime a dozen and get paid the same. A very good translator (let's say, in technical matters) can make enough money to live on comfortably. One would need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of English and an equally excellent competence in writing good Spanish. There are schools that offer such courses, even universities. A degree encompassing both English and Spanish composition would not be amiss.
